About the Role
We’re looking for a meticulous and reliable Executive/Sr. Executive- Finance & Accounts to manage the day-to-day accounts and financial operations of GTAF. You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate transaction records, producing timely financial reports, and supporting the broader Accounts & Finance function as the Foundation’s programs continue to scale. This role requires strong attention to detail, sound knowledge of accounting and tax regulations, and the integrity to responsibly manage donor and organizational funds in line with nonprofit governance standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily transaction records in accordance with standard accounting practices.
- Maintain proper accounting records and prepare annual accounts in compliance with UK charity law.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, including financial statements, donation and grant summaries, and budget performance reports.
- Prepare and verify monthly salary sheets and manage payroll processing, including bonuses, deductions, and final settlements, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement.
- Contribute to the development of budget forecasts and financial projections.
- Handle all bank transactions and conduct regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Manage procurement of office supplies, services, software subscriptions, and training courses, and maintain accurate expense records and the financial value of assets.
- Handle petty cash, including disbursement, tracking, and reconciliation.
- Handle international payments, including staff salaries through Wise and cross-border card purchases (courses, software, subscriptions).
- Prepare and carry out an internal audit plan and related activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain compliance with Tax, and regulatory requirements through accurate documentation and reporting.
- Manage and submit online income tax including corporate and individual tax payments.
Requirements
Educational
- Master’s & Bachelor’s degrees in Finance/ Accounting or related field.
Expertise
- Minimum 02 years of professional experience in managing day-to-day accounting activities and reporting.
- Working knowledge of internal audit standards, accounting principles, and compliance regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Google Suite.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Working knowledge of NBR e-filing systems (VAT/tax portals).
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Professional course enrollments (CAM/ACCA/CA CC) will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to nonprofit/charity accounting or grant-based financial reporting.

Salary
30,000-45,000/- BDT
